Hi, I am planning on selling this Shell Valley Cobra. I've had it a long time and completely rebuilt it, but it's becoming difficult for me to get in and out of it.

Where would you guys recommend selling a car like this?? Ebay or Crasigslist?
Whats a good asking price for this car as well?? I was told to start asking at $45,000.
It has a Ford 429 with a flat-tapping cam and police interceptor heads.
Edelbrock intake and Holley 750 carb.
Its complete with MSD 6al ignition set-up and all AN braided lines.
The transmission is a Tremec TKO-500 with a shatter proof bell-housing.
It's got a Ford 9" rearend with Kevlar Clutches
The engine maybe has 800 miles on it since the completion of the project.
Thing is a beast!! As you may all already know from personal experiences!!

Thanks for any advice!!
P.S. It's a bit dirty sitting in garage, I have yet to take it out and detail it for the sale.

I would list it in the "For Sale" part of this forum and on Cobra Country for the maximum exposure to Cobra enthusiasts.

I think a better asking price would be $27,500 if you truly want to sell it.

Great to ask questions here but do you own homework.

I just sold a car in March that brought 39500 it was in better condition. Look at ebay cars that are 65000 cars are only getting bids of 45000

Dont spend the money on Cobra Country just yet.. Ebay ad is 18.50 Craigslist is free and so is posting here.

Start at 30000 and negotiate... clean up the rust in the engine bay!

good luck
