Msd atomic efi - need help on installation

Hi guys,
does anyone of you use that System....? I actually install the System to an SBF 427 and would Need some help for Installation....

Here's what I ordered for my SBF Ford 427 engine : Fuel Pump Kit #2920 , TBI & Fuel Pump Master Kit #2900 & EFI ATOMIC Throttle Body Kit #2910. I want to use the kit with a returnless fuel system with no regulator , a MSD 6AL ignition box and a MSD Distributor #PN85805 ( no timing control ).

I installed the whole system like shown on page 11 in the installation instructions. The configuration with the handheld is done as follows : Displacement : 427, Cam type : Street stock, FuelPump : PWM no regulator, Idle rpm : 950, timing control : disabled.

Problem : if I turn the ignition to ON, the fuel pump doesn't work. If I crank the engine, the pump doesn't work too. I connected the orange (large) wire directly to the positive terminal of the fuelpump. Negative terminal has good ground. If I put switched 12V to the positive terminal the fuel pump starts working.

I already doublechecked all wires and they're all connected the right way.....

Will I have to connect the fuel pump to a switched 12V cable and not to the orange (large) one so the the pumps works all the time when I turn the ignition to ON ?

Thanks from germany,
Stephan Pohl
