Manx Cobra - very rare.

Jamo 09-26-2015 02:52 PM

As in Meyers Manx?

Murky781 09-26-2015 02:59 PM

Really kind of cool looking. Not sure I'd want to drive it too fast, but it would feel at home in any Roger Rabbit movie. (how soon until someone asks if it's real or a replica?) could not help myself so sorry

Would make a great alternative to a golf cart at the track and other events.

Can't get the link to open.

By the way Murky781. Would this count as one of those "bad decisions"?

When I see something like this I can't help but think of the astonishing amount of time, effort, and expense that somebody chose to expend on this project. This "Manx-Cobra" (good name for it...) is an extreme example, but I'm sure we've all seen either extreme or poorly-executed hot rod or Cobra builds that looked like "lost time". After all that time and expense this ride is going to be difficult to give away.

I think I need to go look at pictures of a 1966 Lola T70 to balance out having seen this Manx-Cobra thingy...

You guys are a scream. (In a juvenile & childish way)

Actually those cars would be in the same definitional section your cars fall into as established by The World Registry. Current production cobras are under a different definitional section. Please see page 30 of the 40th Edition of the world registry at Cobras and GT 40s.

Cheers!
