General Info

Hi I am currently looking into buying my first Cobra, I have read a lot of different information about some kits being better and or worse.
I am currently looking at an autokraft unit, what are somethings I should know ?
How do I confirm its a autokraft unit ?
How do I find out what year the kit was made?
Is there any thing general that I should know ?
Things I should avoid ?

Thanks in advance for any info and help !

Is the body aluminum? (Autokraft was only made in aluminum)
What is the "AK" Autocraft chassis number? (production/chassis numbers can narrow down build dates).
Anything to know, stick with the basics, interior condition, exterior condition, mechanicals, originality, and of course, does it still have the original top and tonneau cover with it and if so, what condition are they in.

Thanks for the info, I cant find any markings or numbers other then the CA vin # on the car. How do you tell if the body is aluminum or fiberglass ? I am almost positive the body is fiberglass. I looked a previous appraisal that was done in 1998 for the car, and it said it was a auto craft ( ford motor division) . Could he have been wrong or is it maybe a chassis from AK ?

Thanks

Autocraft= Shamrock Cobra replica (a low costs, fiberglass body car)

Autokraft= AC/ Autokraft Cobra replica, a higher quality, aluminum body cobra replica, also know as a "MK IV/Autokraft"

Any pictures of the chassis, engine compartment, trunk, interior for starters?

How are the rims attached (bolt on, etc)?
What type of suspension is in the car (rear for starters)?
