Maybe because the first race cars Shelby was going to build were three Corvettes that A guy at Chevy gave him and then the top brass told him to get rid of them. That was when he went to Ford to see if they would provide an engine and the Cobra was born.

I wondered how long it would take for someone to spot the Corvette. Pic of the vette is at a dragstrip. I think it's a classic screwup.

The shirt is " meh". The are nicer available that are licensed.
