I was really asking two questions - you more or less answered the first, ie, your insurance covers you in the EU.

Second was if any US folks were with your group, what/how did they get insurance? Still wondering if there isn't a cheaper way. But in the end it brings a heads up that anyone from the US should nail down insurance (in writing, ie policy in force) before shipping the car to Europe.

Really spectacular! I love the sound of the 427.

Nice work.

Sorry Tony, I missed your second question. The answer was no, there weren't any US cars on our tour, they were all from the UK.
Have you tried getting insurance in France rather than the US? In the UK, European travel is generally included in our insurance policies for up to 30 days.

Those are all great videos and the scenery is really great. Your Cobra sounds great and look good. In the last video in the first post, Lake Garda Tunnels, what was that car that was just in front of you? It looked familiar but I could never get a good enough look at anything but the rear end to make a guess.

Hi Ron,

It's a very nice '67 Mustang GT. He's fitted LED rear lights, which cause a strange flashing effect in the video. They don't appear to flash in real life. :)

Thanks Paul,

I kind of thought that it could be a Mustang but the rear lights didn't look right and I never did get a look at the side of the car. Some of those buildings in that town you drove through looked as if the road was so narrow it would be hard to squeeze through. I really wish I could make that drive.

Hi!
Thanks for sharing this Videos - really great.
I am coming from this area - so if you here the next time, contact me.
You have missed Timmelsjoch, Furkapass, Grimselpass, Silvretta......
Nothing better as a drive in the cobra at a sunny day at those streets :-)
Can not wait till summer is here again :-)

Greetings from Austria
Peter
