I would rather spend a little more on a HIGH quality single four barrel and intake manifold, than fit "old school" Holleys. There are some many choices: Pro Systems, TMP carbs, C & S Aerosol carbs, QFT, etc etc. My favourite would be from TMP, 1000cfm annular, Weber emulsion blocks, WOT from 1500 rpm, pulls better than EFI. In my case it came out to an 858 cfm with manual secondaries and it rocks.;) ;) |
Agree with the last couple of posts. I had a Davinci 1000cfm carb built for my car only one word for it. WOW!

I used a Braswell. Excellent carb. Compatible with Holley jets, etc but the carb is completely made by Braswell and not a modified Holley. The best part is that you get tech help from Dave Braswell himself.

If you have to ask, then you'd be better off with a single 4. As with many, many things on these cars, we don't often do what's easiest on the wallet, makes the wife happy, best mpg, et al.
;) Here's an old pic of my dual Holley 660s. The blow-thru work was done by AED. If you're not familiar with AED, read up on them. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...um/photo28.JPG |
