Polishing Break!

Greetings Cobra Enthusiasts,

In between ‘real project’ efforts (engine & trans planning, carb rebuild, leak management, suspension upgrade, etc.) I take an occasional feel-good, mindless activity break. That’s when the ex-detailer in me comes out.

The chrome on the 1985 replica (newer to me) was in need of some restoration from years of rust, pitting, and grime. Nothing many nights of polishing can’t overcome! Pics attached…(or find in my profile albums if not attached - click on profile picture of car and should take to Polishing album)

Older Cobra is much happier (especially happy with the recent Holley rebuild).

Great results! With other larger scale projects for you to do, it's nice to grab some rewarding and inexpensive wins when you can! I just read your suspension thread and I can't wait to see your car once you can bring the front down and wheels inboard some more.
