Trip to New York City

Looking for recommendations for a reasonably priced($200/nite) hotel in New York city near Times Square/Broadway.

Anybody been there lately that could suggest one?

Cheers
Greg

You can stay at New York Guy's place free! I'm sure he will gladly host an owner of a fakey-do hot rod and provide tour guidance as well as food.

Use Expedia or similar. Don't shy away from staying 10-20 blocks away. Better price and short walk. Times Square is a mad house.

the doubletree at 47 & 7th this week was about $269 but it was a bug room. could pr baby get something cheaper. rates are pretty reasonable currently.

Hilton. it s across the street from Radio City and 2 blocks from MOMA. Good for families.
Marriot, right smack on Times Sq & Broadway. Amazing view. Pricy.

Use Hotels.com or Hotel tonight.com
I use both several times a month with great success!

Thanks MarkIV. I like the idea , but I don't think New York Guy knows how much I can eat and drink. And who you calling fakey-do. My car is real. I know because I can touch it.

I also use hotels and expedia with some success (quality and reliability problems). I usually search these sights then go directly to the hotel and negotiate.

But appreciate the location advice. I know it's pricey.

Cheers
Greg
