I didn't want to hijack the thread with a similar theme recently posted so I thought I'd start a separate one.
What are 1/4 miles for "regular" Cobras? By regular I mean ones that aren't set up for drag racing, i.e. Street tires, no nitrous, street gears, etc. I'm obviously not a drag racer but curious what Cobras run. Interested to know engine size, torque, hp, brand build, weight, rear gear and transmission type if you have the patience for it. As a side curiousity, interested to know how much faster bb's might be compared to sb's. Finally, if you also have lap times at known courses like VIR would be interested. Thanks. |
Very generally speaking, most "Cobras", whether small or big block, run in the 12's. Traction is the biggest issue. Having said that, here is a good video on FFR cars with drag and road course testing.
