FireFly Headers? Who is running them?

Thinking of getting a set of Fire fly headers for my 427 FE and replacing the Superformance headers. Who has switched and how do you like them? Do you see a power increase and how do they sound? To loud? I would appreciate your input.
Thanks

I have looked at the big block 385 series headers for the P51 heads.....those things are $2K+ for a set of headers. I think firefly makes excellent products and their pipes are on the car that I bought. I want to move to their 3" side pipes as soon as I figure out what direction I am going in for the future. I do not personally know of anyone that runs the firefly headers and I'm not advocating that they are not worth the money.

I found the following when looking for header options. I do not know anyone who has used the below company but it looks like an option.
Cobra Kit Car Headers - Stainless Headers Mfg., Inc.

Wow! I just did a search about Firefly Headers and what a bunch of trash talking over nothing. I hope this thread does not turn into that. I am pretty satisfied the quality will be good and that Ron is a good guy. I would just like to know how loud they are and do they sound better that the SPF ones?

Stainless Mfg. I believ has stopped making headers. They send you to GP Headers now.

GP Headers Barnesville, MN | Fargo surrounding areas

The guys that were making the headers at Stainless went out on their own and do the header bending now. I had my Cobra headers done by them last year. 304 SS was $1200 with 3/8" SS flanges on both ends. They did a really nice job.

People will always talk crap about a product when it cost more than the standard industry prices. I think you would be pleased with the firefly product as the pipes I have are very nice looking. My headers are not firefly but they are 2" in diameter with 2.5" firefly pipes. I don't care for the sound at idle....it's more of a poppy sound...this maybe more related to the larger headers and the camshaft than the actual sidepipes. I don't think you could do much better than firefly other than having custom headers made

Thanks for the update. I was not aware of this but just had come across their site the other day and thought it may help with his header options
