parking brake handle

Has anyone used Control Cable parking brake rachet set up. I cannot reach the existing handle without releasing harness. Kind of defeats the purpose. Will mount on top instead of down low and out of reach. Any other suggestions welcome.
thanks

On my list is the removal of the emerg cables and mini-drum shoes in the aft rotor hats. I'll probably just leave the lever installed for looks though.

Will be using a Mico or AFCO manual brake lock (lever) style. I've had good results from the MICO 640 in the past.

Originally had mine behind the shifter never liked the look and always bumping my elbow on it. Moved it to the side so much happier. You gotta do what works for you, the beauty of the non originals.

Had same problem...

I had the same issue. So I moved mine to the top right of the tunnel toward the rear. Used the exsiting F5 e-brake and fabbed up my own mounts. Much easier to reach now. Should have done it when I was first building.

Mine is down the side ..no problems. The purpose of having a mechanical parking brake, ..is that it is an emergency brake too in the case of losing hydraulic pressure
