I know this isn't cobra but....
I have a Butler cobra 427 and value all your opinions a ton.
I just picked up a 66 Ford Fairlane GT 390 S 4 sp and I can't seem to find out much about the cars because there aren't many around. Anyone know much about them? Worth? ..all original..one paint job I will post some pics asap |
Check with the FE forum

As noted above go to fordfe.com. The guys there are very knowledgeable about your car and its engine.
Fwiw those are nice, sought after cars if in good and original condition. |
You could also go to the Fairlane Club Of america. They have about every Fairlane made on there and the members are also very knowledgeable about any year of these cars. As stated above, a 1966 with the combination that you have is a very desirable car.

Awesome...thanks for help guys. The car is in mint shape.one paint job. All original.
Not sure how to get a image up |
Scufty,
If the attachment feature is working you can get an image in the post that way. Otherwise make an Album and upload the pictures to that and then link them to your posts. Or use a photo hosting site such as Photo Bucket and upload the pictures there and link them to your posts. Ron |

Passing off a regular Fairlane for a GT is common, especially with the '67s, when a variety of V-8s were available. The '66s are easy--they're all S-code cars. The 1966 GTs had a single engine option: the S-code 390 four-barrel; the sixth digit in the VIN should be an S.
