Charlie - I have a set (drivers and passenger) Raydot type mirrors that I had mounted on my windshield for years. I changed them out for another style and would make these available for half cost ($40 for the pair). You would need to secure your own mounting bracket (but available through Finishline - different windshields tend to have hole spacing set up slightly differently. Full disclosure - I have cut down the mounting bolt a little in length so I could use acorn nuts and still snug tightly.

Both mirrors are slightly convex.

BTW, I also have a set of spun aluminium mirrors without the shortened posts.

I originally purchased these from Finishline, when they were in Florida.

You can make your own. If I can do it, anyone can. :-)

We mount the mirror in front of the windshield plane, as original. They work quite well in that position. The passenger-side bracket must have a slight bend in it to allow better aiming. Wind wings also fit with this configuration.

Thanks!

Nope. The bracket would need to be flipped to allow the wind wings to fit too. I did away with my wind wings, I didn't experience any benefit with them on.

I have made several mirror mounts over the years. I like stainless because it's strong and requires little or no maintenance.

I found wind wings to be necessary on a Cobra. So I make the mount to be used with wind wings.

Here are a few pictures in this thread

I should add: I lowered my seats (had the bottom foam chopped) so that my eyes look through the centerline of my windshield. Previous to this mod, I was sitting too high and had buffeting issues. Perhaps this change is why wind wings have no impact on my driving experience. Maybe.
