Classic Roadster Electric Door Latches

HI, the electric door latches on my Classic Roadster Cobra have both now stopped working. It's a small electric button aft of the door jamb and it's the only way I know of to get the door open...there is no handle or mechanical lever that I know of. I have had the car since 2001 and they have always worked. Before I start pulling things apart I thought I would ask here and see if anyone has experience with these latches and where/how exactly to get to them. There may be an access port in the rear wheel wells...I see some sort of cover in there but I'll have to take the wheels off to see. Anyone deal with these things before? Thanks in advance

I failed to mention that I bought this car assembled and did not partake in any construction....so I don't know where anything really is on it

@Captain Rob, the best place to go is our Forum "Classic Roadster II", under Manufacturers, engine builder's etc. Mine is not finished yet, so it does not have the door lever latch cover installed, but if you PM (rbgray1) tell him Alfa02 sent you, he has owned his for 26 years he knows his inside and out, In fact his didn't have the covers till I sent him my extra pair, I believe it pretty easy to get your doors open by removing the wheel and pushing up manually on the latch mech. under the cover.

Capt. Rob,
This is how we learn. From inside the rear wheel well you should find the mechanics to your door latches. But if both stopped working I would check my fuses. Or trace the wires and see if something came loose. Good luck.

John
