Option E. That car has been one of my favorites since first seeing it several years ago.

I think C looks most original/vintage. I can also see why A is popular given current styling trends.

I like the patina'd look, so B and C. Not a fan of A, but I saw a stunning original narrow hipped car with white FIA wheels with shiny rims, which were the least attractive part of the car to my eyes. Different strokes...

First off, beautiful 427 … clean and elegant, a brute in a suit so to speak. Even if it’s a bit ‘trendy’, I like the look of the option A with the black wheels on this color Cobra. Next would be option C, a little more subtle. B and D don’t seem to me to fit the look of the car quite as well. That’s just my opinion, what really matters is what you think and any of these would be fine choices.

Thank you all for your comments. Opinions are clearly scattered all over the place. For the record - this is not my car. I simply am using the photo to help mock up the completion of my own which will be pretty much exactly like the one pictured. My car presently has 17" wheels and they are being swapped out for FIA 15"s. I keep coming back to option "E" - LOL

Option A looks very nice and sinister looking-maybe more for a comp car though? Second choice is C. You can't go wrong with any though. Good luck.

maybe you should think about the darkness of the green with option E, should also be not so much blue or black in it, but more brown....

I can't make up my mind....s'pose that translates to you're on a winner whichever one you choose. Agreed that FIA wheels look good on a 427

Cheers,
Glen

I also like option "E". I am currently trying to find a powder coat close to that for my FIA wheels. My second option would be "A".

Option A

moore_rb 12-19-2016 08:25 AM

I can't see the pictures for some reason... ???

I vote Option B. It just looks right, for the street.

YerDugliness 12-19-2016 03:33 PM

Option B for me!

Cheers!
