Trunk prop rod installation
How does this attach to the inside of the trunk lid? The curvature is opposite to the trunk lid

It does look like it is curved the wrong way. I did a Google search sand found some discussions and photos on the FFR forum. Looks like the best suggestion that I read was by a person who added some metal and fiberglassed it in place on the underside of the boot. He then attached the support end to that. In that manner you could round the fiberglass to fit the contour of the end. It looked like others just attached it to the boot as is.

That is a standard prop, available from various hardware sources. We used to special order the prop from England with the correct flat bracket.

I spotted this today just before taking the Cobra out for a ride. Yep, the 17th of February in Wisconsin. Hope this helps.
