Aluminum Contemporary part II
I wanted to follow up on the tread about the blue and white aluminum bodied Contemporary. There were many questions and theories as to what the car is. I have spoken to David Hops from Monster about the car. He told me a local guy named Earl Cook built the body for him as he was building this car for himself. The car also has an aluminum motor with factory 1965 Ford aluminum Cobra heads on it. (Nice surprise). Overall the car is in great condition with only a few hundred miles on it. The last owner did a lot of maintenance on the car last year. The car runs and looks great but does need some finishing as the OP had stated in the first thread.
I hope this clears up some questions for those who care

Thanks for the follow up - much appreciated. Any chance we might get to see some additional pics of the car giving a better look at the body?

I had an inkling that you had snatched it up..........What are the plans, an unique keeper, or flip like you did with the CSX4000 series from Simpsonville.....

Those heads have to be worth a bundle. Aside from your car, I have never seen a set of Ford (factory) FE aluminum heads - only read about them. I should have swapped out a few things before letting it go to you!
Looking forward to seeing pictures of your progress.

Definitely 100% Contemporary lines and shape. The original body must have been used to shape the panels. Very interesting car - thanks for posting.
