The original AC Cobra wheel jack is the LJ 22 which is reproduced by Nick Acton. An outstanding and very correct reproduction.

If you can make it work why not. It's just like any other car. For the record Cobras did have a spare. Also save a ton of money. Buy a real 12DL as it is the same as LJ22 You get the real thing for way less $ than the repop price. LJ22 was the same as the 12DL except with various padstand. They are around if you look. |

Some original owners rescribe LJ22 in them. Again this not a repop. |
I guess it all depends on how close you want to get to the real thing.
