HELP! I'm interested in purchasing of Replica Cobra 427

Dear friends!

I'm very interested in purchasing of Replica of Cobra 427. Maybe someone can advice me a good factory to order a car or a good dealer. It will be perfect in Europe but I also consider the USA.

I will be glad for any information!
Thank you!

Tell us what you are looking for in a car and what your budget is.

Get in touch with Lance Sanders at Hillbank Motors. Superformance has a full line of Cobras from the slab sides to the coupes and a good collection of used cars. They have dealers in Germany and England.

Superformance has built thousands of replicas and has a excellent reputation.

I suspect he will sell you exactly the car you want (or can afford) and has years of experience in shipping cars all around the world.

You don't need to overthink this, just do it. Expect to pay around $75,000 for a turn key new car or more than $ 55,000 for a used one.

Are there any owners local to you? Get with them first before you decide on one. There are lots of differences in them.

Your profile says you're in Ukraine - is that correct? If so, I'd start by figuring out what your registration and licensing issues are going to be. Once you've got that, start looking at European suppliers / sources.

Being in Europe getting help "sorting" out the car after it is built - and all of them do - will be more difficult for a brand new build since any warranty issues would involve shipping the car back (or finding a dealer the warrantor will trust). Check out used Cobras on 427 Cobra Country--Ford AC Cobra replica manufacturers SUPER-SITE. Most will be in the US, some in Canada. I'm sure you know about understanding all of the import rules from wherever you buy it.

Note that Shelby still makes continuation Cobras too.

I don't think you're getting a new one for $75,000 but that's for someone else to explain.

Wait a minute, didn't we just hash that thread out? I thought everyone agreed that you can't get a really nice turnkey anymore for less than a hundred grand.%/

I guess I missed that hash thread. We should all know that not all Cobra kits can be taken on face value. In all my years scouring over these cars have seen a few of the highly respected moniker brands not very well represented.

Of course we all see things differently being a profectionist I tend to look deeply into these cars for potential racing application. Not all new buyers are looking for a Cobra to use for competition but more for looks and the thrill of sliding down into one and reaching for the ignition themselves.

Before I built mine looked a lot of Cobras for all the prices quoted and the quality of the cars, to satisfy my needs I had to build one to realize the true dream of owning one of these amazing machines.
