There aren't as many cars on display as I was hoping for - but they do offer a tour, which I wasn't able to go on due to time constraints.

It is kind of sad that the family auctioned off some of the unique cars. Especially "The One".
I take my wife there to prove that I do not own every Shelby shirt.

There are some very good collections in Denver and just outside Salt Lake... or at least there used to be.

The Denver area is at the Shelby American Collection near Boulder/Longmont. www.shelbyamericancollection.org

The Salt Lake collection was that of Larry H Miller and used to be at the track there, but the track was sold and the significant cars from the collection are now at the Shelby American Collection in Boulder. Stock was always rotated between the two to keep them from getting stale.

The SAC is the semi-permanent home of CSX2000 - the first Cobra - which Greg Miller bought from the Shelby estate. Last time I was there about a year ago there were also 5 of the original GT40's; the most in any one place anywhere.

Shelby Trans Am Mustangs

Thanks .I did not know that the cars were rotated between the sites.

I saw most of them at Miller's......

I have always wondered why none of the of the Shelby Trans Am cars were displayed....

I did see the Titus car, yellow with a black hood...but I think that was a replica and the original is wrecked and lost somewhere is Mexico ??

Why didn't Shelby race his 350 fast backs instead of the notch backs ?

There are some very pretty Kirkhams in those pics!
