Need help engine is hard to start when cold
 
When it's been sitting all night or all weekend. Another problem is coughing and stumblind when I get on the gas to pass.

Well since you didn't give much information to help people troubleshoot, I will give you an accurate answer, that may not help you much.

Your engine is running too lean. In other words, it is not getting enough fuel.

You might start with some information on, when did this start. Did it always run this way or did it used to run perfect?

Is it a carb or EFI?

What engine is it?

What carb is it or what EFI system is it?

If a carb, does it have a choke? If yes, is it Electric?

If this is a new problem and you have a carb, try blowing carb cleaner (with that tiny red straw) down thru all the air bleeds around the carb horn.

P.S. - Be careful when doing this. Lots of gas will go spraying everywhere. Cover the whole carb with a towel you are willing to trash. Wear eye protection as well.
