HAHAH... CSX 9132.
That car wasn't built by Shelby American in Los Angeles. It was built in Gadsden Alabama by the Weaver family.... That's a Unique Motorcars replica. |
The only CSX Cobras built by Shelby in Los Angeles had CSX3XXX serial vin numbers. The only Continuation Series 427 Cobras have either CSX4XXX, CSX6XXX or CSX1XXX vin numbers. I believe the only Shelby Continuation Series that has a CSX9XXX vin number are Daytona Coups.

If you look at the bottom of the Shelby ID plate, it clearly identifies the Unique ID number.

On Oct-08-17 at 13:15:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Hey all, my apologies here on this ... I am selling this Cobra on consignment and am going on what the car says on its engine compartment plate, I am not very familiar with these cars. I am learning that it is NOT a CSX however the motor is a 428 Cobra Jet - Again, my sincere apology ... no intent by me to deceive anyone. Bid knowing I don't know who builder is - The car can be inspected anytime and no bidder is bound to any bid if you were under the impression it was a CSX. Thanks ! |

Unique cobras seem to be respected here. Tend to sell less than SPF, etc. However, you don't know what year assembled, who did the finish work, and how many miles. Offer him $25K |
