Exhaust paint
Any recommendations on high temp paint for the side exhaust pipes? Currently the car has a grey/silver color but it needs to be touched up. Thanks!

I recently used black cerekote on a motorcycle exhaust and I'm not pleased. Would have been better to use VHT ceramic exhaust paint which isn't bad for what it is.

I have used a couple of brands of high temperature exhaust paint and had pretty good results with them. One of the brands was VHT ceramic exhaust paint which mikeinatlanta mentions above. They will all need touching up after a time though.

Are you looking for a color change? If so, black is easy to touch up and the BBQ or HIGH HEAT ULTRA (my favorite) from Rustoleum is cheap and effective. Avoid white VHT. These three recommendations are from my personal experience.

I also use the black Rustoleum High Heat paint. I just get the little cans and brush it on
since the flat and semi don't show brush strokes very much. It looks period correct. The
first time you drive the car after painting you will get some serious odor as the paint
cures. Easy and cheap.

I think the black paints hold up better than the white paints. My process was media blasting, baking the primer on, and then baking the paint on. Its amazing how it holds up.
