I can't speak for RT but this may be the week that they are in Canada and may be w/o communication. The other person that could help is Craig from Craig's Cobras and he'll be there too.
Unfortunately, you may need to wait. Jim |

It's been a year - so big thank you to Cobra Valley in Wisco
With the Big Thumper and Spinner 9-1-1 tool, I was able to do the undoable. Thank goodness. Also, thanks to all suggestions for Gibbs Oil; that might have done it by itself |
It’s pretty easy to remember the direction..
It’s all based upon inertia and thread technology. Whatever side, imagine you are holding the spinner in your hand, the car is going forward, so what direction does it do up? So the LH side is RH thread and vice versa. But whichever side, to undo it, tap the top of the spinner towards the front of the car.
The theory is the same of you have an Austin Healey, Sunbeam Tiger, or a AC Cobra. Regarding the latter, in the UK, we use Phosphor Bronze spinners and anti sieze copper grease, just to be sure. Incidentally and no offence to learned owners, we use lockwire to see if the spinner has worked loose, not to stop it undoing. |
I believe you would say my spinner is AL-EW-MINIUM
Haven't seen bronze offered. |
