Q: Is this a common build? A: A TR6 frame with a Jaguar rear end? First time I've ever heard of such a thing. So, no, not a common build. Photos would really help sort it out, though. Q: for some reason I can't upload the pictures A: You can't upload photos until you have reached a certain number of posts. The easiest / best way is to upload them to a hosting site (e.g. Google Photos) and post links in this thread. |
Go to a few other posts and reply to them, that will increase your number of posts and get you to the magic number so that you can post photos.

Here's my e-mail hartman6392@comcast.net send me yours and I can send the pictures, Believe it or not it looks like a good build.
Thank you Matt |
If there were ever a definition of "kit car" - this would take the prize. If you are serious about a cobra - concentrate on "replicas".

This might be one to pass up.

First you can't upload that picture because you are trying to do it directly from your computers hard drive. You have to upload pictures to an Album on here or to a Photo Hosting site and then link them from there. You can upload to a Hosting Site no matter how many posts you have. I don't remember the number of posts that are required to be able to embed a picture in a post.

TR6 frames are notoriously flimsy, I would not want a cobra on that frame.

I've done thousands of miles in a 3A with hydraulic dampers (not lever arm, as per original) and wouldn't describe it as having a large amount of flex. A TR6 should be much better, I'm assuming.
However, putting a 'glass body onto a chassis with some flex is a bad idea. That said, no, it does not sound like any replica build that I've ever heard of, particularly the Jag rear end. Cheers, Glen |
