Belts and Harnesses

I have only had my Backdraft Cobra for a few weeks. Now I am starting to get it ready for the show circuit. It is blue and silver. I am thinking of taking the belts and harnesses out and trying to dye them blue to match the car. Has anyone tried this and had success? If so what dye did you use? The belts being black will probably several dye treatments, but i don't want to buy new belts as mine have hook and ring mounts.
Thanks.

John,

Depending on the brand, most harnesses can be re-webbed, keeping your original hardware and latches. It's way less expensive than a new set, and you should be able to select a color from among their standard colors.

If you're set on dyeing be sure the process doesn't weaken the webbing.

As your belts are Black, I'm pretty sure several re-dyes with Blue will still result in a Black belt with a possible Blue hue to it.
I scrapped my factory Latch buckle 4 points (approx $90-100 per set) for 5 point Cam-lock belts (approx $140 set)
Tom had the best path VS new sets.
