Headers
Anyone have experience with changing out the headers and side pipes on a Backdraft Racing? I have an '04 build with ceramic coated headers that slip into the stainless side pipes, held in place with springs ... what a pissy way to make an exhaust connection! They leak and rattle. Don't know how or if flanges could be welded on or over the ceramic headers and have it look good ...so I figure on going deep in the old pocket for some new headers and side pipes. Question, are the headers going to be easy to remove? I know I'll have to remove the steering but what else should I expect to get into??

Just have tabs welded onto two of the primary tubes and onto the corresponding collector tubes. Insert 10-32 screws and nuts and voila! Fixed. Cheap and easy too.

This is how mine are. They don't look like they would work very well but they seem to work fine.
