Has anyone looked at the rediculous low costs of the cobras on this site ?

Ron61 12-21-2018 05:48 AM

I have never heard of it. Is it like Craigs List or is it a regular website for cars?

Its a search engine that pulls ads from other sites.
https://cars.trovit.com/index.php/co...isUserSearch.1

Much like https://www.cars-on-line.com/shelby.html
but not as sophisticated.

I should add that any ad you see on Trovit that is pulled from "US Classified 4 All" is bogus and I wouldn't request additional info as you'll undoubtedly end up on several mass mailing lists and telemarketer phone lists.
The super low prices are a troll.

Thanks for the answer.

Agreed. They list CSX 8954 @ $93,000 ( https://cars.trovit.com/listing/1962...a.F1D1W041Hr1X ), and the same car sold at Sotheby's in Fort Lauderdale in 2014 for $173,250 ( https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/f...iversary-cobra ). A sane buyer would have to ask why a car would be worth half today what it sold for only 4 years ago.

Hi Ron, Ron here ... I posted a bit about Trovit in another "Trovit" thread and made the statement that I personally had very poor results from that group. Prices were NOT actual list prices of the car(s) and there were NO communications with them. My feeling is that they are worse than a Craig's list in that false advertising is employed as a lure. Not a reputable company I'd do business with.

Ron61 12-24-2018 11:57 AM

Thanks Ron, I had a feeling there was something less than stellar about them.

Ron
