Oil leak
I have a backdraft with a remote oil filter that is leaking at the block . is there a gasket or o rings or some kit I can purchase? I have a 351 w stroker man o war block. thanks.:confused:

The standard remote oil adapters typically used are made by Canton (they are usually black anodized) and they sell an O-ring kit to fix them. The center bolt may also be loose so I'd check that first (takes a really wide wrench).

Make sure that the NPT to AN fittings from the adapter to the hoses are aluminum if the remote oil filter adapter is aluminum and not steel. The metals expand at different rates when hot and will cause a leak that is not noticeable when the fittings are cold.
