I had my picture taken while mowing my yard a few years back when I lived in Hawaii. Never saw them go by.

When we were in Colorado I built a spec house. The picture in street view was a fair amount older than the areal view so if you zoomed down it jumped to an old version that had me in my bobcat doing grading and landscaping.
I saw one of the cars going around Vegas a few months ago and there was something on the news that they were going around and re-doing the street views. I looked up the camera they use and you can actually buy one if you want to do your own version.

They must update there more often than here. I pulled up a picture of my place a few days ago and it still showed a Comet that I had and sold 10 years ago in my driveway. So I decided to check a house they built near me about 5 years ago and it just showed the empty lot and trees that were there.

About 7 years ago, the Google car went past while I was taking out the garbage. Several months later the view was updated and there I was. It was there for several years - not sure how often they update the views - but is now gone.

Seriously, that's a great looking car, very clean, another fan of the classic white shifter ball I see....;)
The detail is really quite good, you can even see the black lug nuts on the black wheel centers.
On the other hand it is a bit creepy too.

Google is punishing me for turning up all of the privacy and anti tracking settings. last year, the maps showed my house, complete. I looked a few days back trying to use it to scale land still available and now the newest view available is 3 years old before the pad was cleared. All trees!

I had to goto a town variance hearing to put in a pool a couple of weeks ago, when they pulled up the overhead pic of my property the cobra was parked in the driveway. No one said anything, I guess they werent impressed lol.
