The problem is the Centerforce. RAM or McLeod only.

I get so many emails about Centerforce clutch issues.

Brent, I remember many years ago you told me (or I think you told me) that Centerforce uses a funky proprietary thickness for their clutch discs. Did you ever confirm that, or did I imagine it?

Clutch master removal

I have a BDR, Tremec 5 speed, 418W at about 500+hp. Clutch master cylinder has bee giving me problems since I bought the car (about 3200 miles). Master is leaking and the fluid coming out looks like graphite lock lube. Have several questions: do I have to remove the power brake canister to get the clutch master out? can I access the master by removing the side vent? the slave isn't leaking (yet) should I go ahead and replace it also? Recommendations for the parts replacement....part numbers and companies....
any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

yes remove vent .pain in the but to do also may have to lay across car from other side cover fenders and wear underwear only do not want to scratch car! you may want to make sure garage door is closed my neighbors are still laughing at me. The slave is a dorman #103489 you can get from orielys . the master I purchased was a 7/8ths wilwood. also check your fork close my slave pushed the rod all the way though dumbing out all the fluid and the piston.
