Can anyone help me identify this body?

An elderly man had a nice “65 Cobra” replica for sale. Standard 289 Mustang gear. He couldn’t remember the maker of the body. Here are some pics if anyone wants to take a shot. Car located on west coast and is about six years old.
2 round tailights, chrome rear bumper Long rollbar with no braces, gas cap on drivers side behind driver White parking lights, hood length seems short 46” Wheelbase 91” Help, please. |
Looks like a West Coast Cobra to me. Probably fitting since it’s, you know, a west coast Cobra
|
West Coast's cars had an extended (96") wheelbase.
OP: Please give us more photos of the chassis, suspension, engine compartment and trunk area. |
Yeah, I missed the wheelbase reference. That’s what I get for posting at midnight. The low, wide roll bar and the slightly longer nose are characteristic of a WCC/Stallion, but not the 91” WB.

Jaitee, are you sure about the wheelbase? I noticed that the car has hood pins, mounted on those triangular bases in the rear corners of the hood opening. Lone Star Classics kits have those triangulations, but like the West Coast cars they have/had an extended wheelbase 5” longer than an original car. LSC cars also had live axles (at least a couple that I saw on the web did).

I'm betting on a West Coast Cobra :D

Identify
I’ll see if I can get a better wheelbase measurement and some better pics.
|
Definitely not a West Coast Cobra. Better pics would help, but the deep lip around the inside of the rear cowl in the cockpit may suggest a Street Beasts / Classic Motor Carriages variant.
