Just saw a 1997 427 Superformance Cobra go for $35K on Bring A Trailer. I guess that's what you get for not setting a reserve price? Man did that buyer ever make out and did that seller get screwed!!

Did you look at the undercarriage pics? And the rust on the brakes? I'd say he got a good price.

Most of it looks OK. Just needs some cleanup.

It has adjustable shocks, which is a nice bonus. the corrosion on the inner wheel wells is a little concerning-isn't that aluminum?

Motor is meh.. bellhousing looks questionable.. but lots of room in that price to upgrade to whatever you like.

It is not the fault of the auction if the seller sold no reserve. To me it is greed, not wanting to miss out on a percent or three.
