You need to supply more details about your transmission and rear end. On the ERA, there are at least 4 variations, and those are for the "normal" configurations.

Thanks guys for your input. I'll contact those suppliers if I can't find one for sale.

My requirement is far from normal. Corvette C3 diff and Ford C6 trans.

With the various hybrid universal joints available, just about anything can be adapted.

Not sure of the length yet. So it most likely will be custom.

Most important part is that the diff and trans centrelines are parallel. They can be offset up to about 6 degrees, but must lie in the same plane. As others have indicated, any driveshaft shop can make up a special to fit and not hugely expensive.

Both. The object is to have the transmission axis parallel to the differential axis. Vertical and horizontal offsets are equivalent in driveshaft's view. The most important thing is that the maximum angle of the joint is not exceeded during wheel travel.

In IRS applications the diff does not move so wheel travel does not come into play?

Anyone ever look into the “carbon fiber” driveshaft? Perhaps because it is so short a “carbon fiber” shaft would give no advantage?

I prefer a rubber driveshaft. It stores energy up as it twists then it really cuts loose for added acceleration as it unwinds itself.

I'm glad this reads as carbon fibre now, instead of fibreglass.
