Crying shame, that was nice looking nostalgia dragster. Not my cup of tea but looks cool.
Luckily the driver was ok, although he evidently passed out causing the accident and missed the epic burnout.

Passed out from heat exhaustion started the mess, but knocked out upon hitting the wall it seems.

Lost control in reverse, and then selected forward gear?
Can that happen if you faint from heat exhaustion?
