Csx 6000

Look at this car, it is a very nice CSX car... Just saying. Ride height a little high, motor sitting about 1" back too far, but other than that very nice car... WOW

Beautiful color, reminds me of an old Contemporary Cobra I had 20+ years ago that was painted a dark Mediterranean Blue. As with that car, I'm sure the pictures do not due the color justice.

Bill, how many Cobra replicas have you had? I do remember that dark green ERA 427....

Cheers,
Glen

Gorgeous car ! Sale pending, anyone here?

ERA 626 01-27-2020 10:45 AM

I would say that $129k for that car is a very good deal for the buyer.

I know that Cobra.
I helped put the motor in it. What a pain in the xxx (whole body:)).

It's a great car and who ever bought it got deal!

The owner texted me today saying it had sold today. Bitter sweet day for him.

It was a 427 side oiler build right.

The Colonel wanted as close to real a Cobra as he could get.

He did a good job.

That was ERA188, a true BRG (74 Jag formula), tan/black interior, 427 sidoiler with tunnelport top end, I do miss that car and would not shy away from a potential repurchase down the road.

ERA234 was also a Dark Mediterranean Blue like the car above
CCX3335xx (can't remember the rest) was also a Dark Mediterranean Blue, came out of a barn in northern VT about 1.5 miles from the Canadian border.
At least two FFR's I owned were also close to the same.

As for how many Cobras, I lost count at 25  The cash for clunkers era was very good to me, as I could buy a car for pennies on the dollar, finished, unfinished, raw kits, and everything in between,,,,,,Have not owned one for at least 6 years......I'm thinking it may just be time for another. Only time will tell.
