Having Not sat in an ERA whats the leg and foot well room like as compared to FFR, Superformance and Backdraft. just wondering the pro's and con's of each brand's leg and foot room?

Cars starting with #731 can be fashioned to have a relatively considerable amount of leg room. The seats can be mounted towards the back of the car, directly to the floor, and slightly tilted. The pedals are then moved forward, with the help of a larger clutch MC. The steering column is then slightly shimmed and tilted. I am 6'4", with long legs, and am the poster child for fitting a big guy in an ERA Cobra. Now, mind you, it can go the other way as well. When I was up there I sat in Peter's car. Peter is not terribly tall, and when I sat in that car I think even my chin was over the top of the windshield, my legs hit the steering wheel, and I thought to myself "this is never gonna work." We then did a butt-in-seat fitting and Doug was able to make the car fit me like a glove and look absolutely perfect. There was so much room that he had to fashion a make-shift child's seat that he would sit in when he was test driving the car because his legs couldn't reach the pedals, and we had everything measured to fit me perfectly and then bolted down, so it wasn't adjustable.

I have a pre 731 and I'm 6'-1. No issues at all fitting in, plenty of legroom.

I was planning on altering my dash since my right knee gets in the way sometimes but thanks to Patrickt, I have other options.

I'm just 6' and have more than enough leg room in my ERA Slabside. The seats are adjustable. Very comfortable on a trip.
