Everett Morrisson Cobra - Need new shocks.

Hi guys, I have a Everett-Morrison Cobra and would like to upgrade my Suspension with adjustable Shocks. Can anyone help me to find Shocks that will fit into my cobra ?
Thanks,
Stephan

Stephan,

First you'll have to tell us which suspension system your car is fitted with. E-M provided chassis configurations for Mustang II, C-4 Corvette, Jaguar...and I think I remember there was a fourth choice, but can't remember what it was.

FWIW, my E-M has '87 Corvette C-4 suspension, so I went with Koni adjustable shocks for that application.

Mike,

You're right!

The choices of E-M suspension over the years has included (Front/Rear):

Jag/Jag
Mustang II/Jag
Mustang II/Live axle (mostly 9" Ford)
C4 Vette/C4 Vette

and then there's the latest one

Mustang II(?)/Mustang 8.8 IRS (mostly '03-'04)

Take your pick ;-)

Tom

Can you may identify the System....?

Semms to be a Mustang II front end ...?

Yes, definitely Mustang II...plenty of choices for that suspension system, just google adjustable shocks for Mustang II suspension. QA1 makes a nice set for the front.

What setup do you have in the rear?

I’m running the adjustable QA-1 with 600 lb springs drives fantastic on the third click setting
on a BB 514 . 385 stroked. Nice setup also not a bank breaker.

Viking also has double adjustable shocks for about the same price as QA1's single adjustable. Coilover setups available for Mustang II front ends from both QA1 and Viking. Probably best to talk to customer / technical support to figure out most appropriate rear shocks. I contacted QA1 technical support when I did that and they were very helpful.
