1/4" leg x 1/4" leg x 1/8" thick steel angle
Hi all. I've pretty much exhausted my internet searches.
I had a leftover/scrap short piece of 1/4" leg x 1/4" leg x 1/8" thick steel angle and I need some more of it. But I can't find it on any web site. Has anyone ever seen this and know where I can get some. I use it to reinforce the edges of 14 gauge steel panels. Cheers Greg |

Are you are describing 3/8" X 3/8" X 1/8 outer measurements? (Which would give you inner 1/4" X 1/4" legs)
Or is it 1/4" X 1/4" X 1/8" outer measurement which effectively gives you 1/8" inner measurement legs? If the its the 1st one I'd purchase 1/2" X 1/2" x 1/8" angle and have 1/8" ripped on both legs. (cheap and easy to find) If the latter I'd purchase 1/4" X 1/4" square stock and have a 1/8" X 1/8" notch milled in it. |

Thanks guys. I have probably complicated it by suggesting I was looking for steel angle 1/8" thick.
It could be a formed sheet steel angle 14ga or 16ga. Thinner than 1/8". But a lot more web searching hasn't yielded anything so I may have to contact my local sheet metal shop. Thanks for all your help and ideas. Cheers Greg |
