Cobra Halibrand/Sunburst spinner taper angle?
Hi all. Gone back over a dozen or so old threads but could not find all the info I was looking for.
Want to know the taper angle of the knock-off/spinner where it seats against the center of the wheel. Does the wheel center have a different taper angle for an interference fit? Thanks for your help. Cheers Greg |
I was told many years ago by Bob Negsted who was one of the 427 Cobra chassis/suspension designers that knock offs should have a 1 degree interference fit. Others say no, the tapers should match. Pick your side.....
