That Cobra looks like some weird cartoon car to my eye. Bet it weighs plenty as well.
The only advantage that I can see is that it will most probably have a well sorted out traction control so should be very fast in a straight line. Not so sure around the twisty bits.

I love the idea. I've often dreamed of building an electric Cobra.
Not keen on the execution, though.

I'm a big fan of the incredible performance potential that electric vehicles bring to the table, but the more I think about it, the long hood and huge open snout of the Cobra are necessary compromises to accommodate a big, hot, gulping combustion engine.
If I were to design an electric vehicle, it would be a completely new look taking full advantage of the packaging and ergonomic opportunities that batteries and electric motors allow. No need for a big parachute-like frontal area when you can pretty much do whatever you want with the shape of the body. :)
