Susan's (Ken Miles sec.) FFR is for sale on BaT.

The car is now up for sale Finally, after waiting over a month with BaT, not all their fault, Susan & I are not good with Computers. Show her some love from the Cobra Community. Sam (Her husband) said it's like losing a Child. Hopefully this sale will add money for their heath issues. Thanks folks in advance. TommyRot. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1965-shelby-cobra-73/

It's getting lots of interest - bidding is at $30K with over 6 days before the auction closes.

Not knocking the car but I have a question? Why didn't they go with the IRS? I drove a Midstates, Shell Valley and a Unique. IMO, Cobra ain't a Cobra with a straight axle?

i think that is a age old question ;) The quick simple answer is, FFR come that way, They built the car to drive. If we get into the question, is it (More) Cobra-ish with a IRS, short answer is yes too. I've raced a Alfa GTV in vintage racing for years, and was (Never) beat because the tube axle was a inferior set-up to the BMW 2002, or the Datsun 510's IRS. cheers TommyRot.

A quick update on Susan's Bat Sale. I'm happy to report, the Car sold yesterday, to a very nice gentleman out of So. Cal. He has wanted one since high school in 1965. He met his wife back then, and over the years, came closer & closer to getting one, and as he said, with a heavy heart his beloved wife passed in April. So with mixed blessing's they finally have their Cobra. Susan said, she will still be with you everytime you take it out. Still a truly win/win story. I told him about Club Cobra, so hopefully he will reach out to us. Cheers TommyRot.

Selling price was $52K. Presumably buyer's premium is on top of that.
