Effectively, yes.

We now have 4 friction faces (2 clutch plates), so all 4 faces will start to slip at the same rate as the pedal is depressed. The opposite in reverse as the pedal is released.
The steel plate in the middle is a floater, just like any "steel" in an Automatic.

I love your clutch but you may want to take a closer look at your ring gear. Not sure if it is the picture but bottom right side looks like worn teeth.

I think that is an optical illusion.

I am only telling you this so you do not do what I did . Do not leave or put tools or anything on your finders they scratch very easy then you will cry and feel bad! Even when they are covered.

On my old FFR, the dyno guy put a fender guard on which swirled my paint so bad it took hours to polish out by hand.

Next time I was there I told him no fender protector!

Now with all the money pissed into it and the wild west level of driving discipline around here (police have given up it seems), I am frankly a bit hesitant to drive the thing. I've seen people do stuff on the freeway lately that makes me very glad im seeing it from a 7000 lb diesel truck...

How is the plug wire loom bracket attached to your valve cover?

I like that setup. Mine looks nice, but sandwiches loom holders between 6 of the valve cover bolts. Not great if they leak

Where did you get your alternator bracket ? I have a turn buckle style and it flexes to much . I just purchased on ebay one like yours but I am having installation troubles . yours adjust from the bottom and mine from the top.My centerline bolt holes are off and I have to remount my dipstick. yours looks like it would be a better way to go.

That’s a great clutch, I have it behind my Z head motor. Make it really sweet and get the Kirkham billet throw out setup.
