What kind of differential and who is the manufacturer?
|
It’s a Ford 9 inch with posi.
So here’s the update. Took all the advice everyone gave me and applied it. Completely removed the breather unit, all the hoses and fittings. Put in a new nipple with a longer hose end on the differential. New fittings on the breather unit, new hoses, new clamps and resealed everything back up. Opened up the CORRECT fill hole and let about two ounces of fluid run out. When it stopped flowing, low and behold it was level with the fill hole. Go figure. Put about 75 miles on it so far both highway and city...no drips, no spray, no mess ! I do believe the problem is solved. Thank you all for your guidance and support. John |
