Hi I’m Davide from Italy. Hehe is so hard to import and register a replica car. I just found a manufacturer Who build FFR or AK427 (uk Cars)
Escluding exterior aspects can you explain or suggest about AK (jaguar based) FFR (mustang based ?) SPR (?) Backdraft (bmw based?) I would like to know more about tech and handling Seller suggests AK Cars even If less expensive than FFR. Same engine Thank you so much |
The Mustang and BMW based cars are nice because finding suspension parts for them is pretty easy.
Jag based cars are little bit more difficult, and a little bit more expensive. But I don't know anything about AK Cars as a company. Also, I lived in Italy for a couple of years back in the late 80's. The best two years of my life. :) |

Find part is not a problem, I just only would like to have a sport car old school (I have also a bmw z4 and an elise) for road and sometimes track. But i cant test a cobra in Italy, and i would like to know more about difference between manufacturers. I read that SPR is the best but not much more. You spent 2 years in Italy?:D Where if I can ask? |
Do you mean SPF cobra? I cannot find an SPR. SPF is short for Superformance, their factory is used in South Africa. They make a nice cobra.
My wife and I are looking forward to making our first trip to Italy in the near future. My parents families came from Abruzzo and Aquila. Jim |

MY father was born in Palermo Sicily. I drive a backdraft, chose it for best bang for the buck. I like the supperformance just as well. The FFR just depends on who built it they can be just as nice. I would say get a 427 So you will get the full experience of what the car is I guarantee you it will put a big grin on your face. All this said my father would be pissed you did not get the Ferrari.:cool:

A mate of mine always has a small selection of Cobras in the shop, and his own. He is working on all models since 35 years. Fly to Köln and drive 30 min (Windeck). He speaks english well enough to explain. Check Willkommen bei Cobra Corner
Probably the most decent shop for Cobras you can find in Germany. If this is too far, I can ask him for Cobras near München. And the german Club has one or two members in Switzerland. And while you are checking, near Soest, a short drive from Dortmund is a dealer. I wouldn't buy from them, but I am biased. I build me own. In Europe the RAM is very popular, and a very good car. I had one myself, and CobraCorner has one. His is an extremely quick car. And Cheng-Lim from Thunder Road cars in UK is racing one. |
Thx for suggestion, I've found a few shops in belgium, germany and estern europe. The one in Italy is nice, even if the smal choice.
My doubt was in principle from technical point of view to understand difference between models. |
