Gelcoat hairline cracks/crazing

1 Attachment(s)
My Shell Valley has a bit of gelcoat crazing. It is a kit made in 1988 and titled in 1996 with 34000 miles, so I’m ok with it happening a bit. I found a marine product called Magicezy for hairline cracks, and it is available in a colour that seems to match mine. Has anybody used it and got satisfactory results?

Never heard of the product, but if you have gelcoat issues you need to sand down below it for a proper repair, as you do not know the underlying cause, or if it will continue in another area later on. Best bet, bake the body in the hot sun for a week, really let it heat up during the day and cool at night to see what else may pop through before you do anything else.

Thanks for the tips. I’m hoping that with 25 years and 34000 miles of use, no more will appear! And there aren’t many now.
