I don't own a Unique (or any Cobra real or replica) but hope to some day. I did get a couple of t-shirts and a hat, though! |

Unique Homecoming - Chuck Beck cars
Chuck Beck and a friend drove these to the Unique Homecoming. I cannot believe I forgot to get a pic of the hood medallion...Chuck said he built around 30 of these back in the 80s

More pics of cars that I dream of all the time now....love the white with blue stipes...just so classic! The Gray Cobra was a new build (last year as I recall) with a proud owner I never got a chance to speak to. I did speak with his wife who told me that he loved that car perhaps more then he loved her :LOL:

Awesome that Chuck Beck was there! He was a huge antagonist back in the days of the old Cobra (and later Kit Car) shootouts when he brought in his fast, lightweight Porsche replica Spyders and then the Listers to challenge and push the performance envelopes.
The Unique reunion has become one of the enduring institutions of our hobby. |
It was very cool to meet Mr. Beck...very nice to be at Unique HQ, too! It's pretty close to home - only about 4 1/2 hours away, so I plan on stopping by again next year!

Chuck was actually there:confused:? I haven't seen him in over thirty years! I am sorry I missed him... thought hard about one of his Spyders, years ago.
