Help with Cobra ID

4 Attachment(s)
Hi, I'm a brand new cobra owner, having purchased a car THIRD hand from someone. The car runs great, well built, but neither myself or the person who bought it second hand, know who the manufacturer of the cobra was. Is there any way I can get some help in identifying whose kit it was, who built it, etc? I have many pictures, but here are some from when I had it on the rack recently.

Here are exterior shots, just for fun.

I don't know but the suspension is production-based Mustang II. That might be a clue. Do you have any photo's of the engine bay?

Here, Larry ... not sure what you are looking for, but here are a couple.

More clues! Steering column is above the footbox and steering wheel is high on the dash. Most replicas aren't but someone's going to recognize that I'm sure.

Perhaps a B&B?

What is the wheelbase, looks longish to me. Originals are 90"

That's not a bad guess but I think B&B uses a 1.5" roll bar. The OP's car looks to be 2". Of course, I'm not an expert on B&B's!

I don’t think it’s a B&B. I don’t see the break in the front, top fender line peak profile around the front of the door.

That's not a B&B. To many differences.

Doesn't Butler have a steering shaft like that?

Looks like the vacuum advance line is not hooked onto the distributor
