steering Wheel bolt pattern

Good morning all,
I need a new steering wheel . What came with the car is a 16" wood rimmed with the independent spokes which causes the hub to have a non symetrical bolt pattern. It has a 6 bolt pattern with a spacing of 2.5" across the center.
The closest I have been able to find so far has a spacing of 2.75. Also the holes
(2) at the top have a different spacing than the holes down either side.
A hub that matches the new wheel would solve the problem, but so far have not seen one for the wheels I've looked at have not shown or mentioned a matching hub,but it would also have to match the wheel shaft.
Anyone run into this problem before ?

Have you checked the Moto Lita website? https://www.moto-lita.co.uk/steering...-split-centre/

mongoose; I don't want to replace it with another moto lita ($450 + shipping )
I'm looking for around $200 that might have the same bolt pattern as the orig wheel or an adapter to fit the shaft. If an adapter + wheel get close to 400, then it would make sense to go with moto-lita.

These folks have a Moto-lita in your bolt pattern for $275. 15" OD though.

SPD: thanks for the link, 15" will work just fine.

What would prevent someone from cutting a one piece Mota-lita wheel to resemble the split steering wheel?

Blas; I might give that a try. Depends on what I end up with. Waiting for David Kirkham to get back to me.

I am not sure cutting up a high dollar wheel is the short way home. Here are the PCD metrics for the MotoLita 6 fastener Cobra steering wheels. Except for the bolt hole thread specifications all other dimensions are in millimeters.

I have a box full of Cobra steering wheel adapters if you mess one up. You can have one or two for the shipping.

I don't know if these would help but I have at least 4 of them

eschaider 09-10-2021 02:31 PM

I was hoping you had the solid cast or possibly billet versions, readmt. If you did, I was going to attempt to take you up on your offer. I will leave these more modern versions for other needy enthusiasts. :)

I'll dig through the boxes-o-crap I have. I bought all the odd "stuff' from the original Finish Line when Jackie was cleaning out the back rooms.
